Firefox version 78 is the last supported Firefox version for Mac users of OS X 10.9 Mavericks, OS X 10.10 Yosemite and OS X 10.11 El Capitan. These users will be moved to the Firefox Extended Support Release (ESR) channel by an application update. This will provide security updates until the next ESR update in July 2021, after which the affected users will no longer receive security updates.

Firefox for mac 10.7

While Apple does not have a public policy governing security updates for older OS X releases, their ongoing practice has been to support the most recent three releases. The last security update applicable to OS X 10.11 was made available in July 2018. Unsupported operating systems do not receive security updates, have known exploits and can be dangerous to use, which makes it difficult to maintain Firefox on those versions.

Firefox For Mac 10.7

Up until July 2021, we will be updating affected users with critical security updates through the Firefox ESR channel to help retain the best possible security. After this, no security updates will be provided.

Sep 23, 2002 Download Old Version of Firefox for Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger (Intel). A download manager, and an integrated search system that uses the user's desired search engine. I'm running Mac OS X 10.4.11 'Intel,' TenFourFox doesn't help with that. Whenever I load Firefox it tells me to upgrade to 12.0 for security reasons. 12.0 is most definitely not compatible with the version of OS X on my MacBook Pro. Last Updated: March 17, 2015 To get Firefox for Mac 10.4.11 you need to which is the last version of Firefox to support PowerPC (PPC) Macs. But Firefox 3.6.28 still works on PPC Macs. Firefox version 78 is the last supported Firefox version for Mac users of OS X 10.9 Mavericks, OS X 10.10 Yosemite and OS X 10.11 El Capitan. If you want to keep your Firefox version up to date, you will need to upgrade your operating system to macOS 10.12 or higher. Older versions that are not supported by Apple are unreliable and unsafe to use, which also makes it difficult to maintain Firefox on those versions.

I am using Mac OS X Version 10.4.11 (Tiger), Firefox Version 3.0.3; Firefox crashes half the time: File > Print > Save as PDF

In other words, after crashing and restarting firefox several times, one can be left with a number of PDFs that are absolutely CRAP (one for each crash). There is a crash reporter which analyses this, but I am not a techie; parsing complaints seem to be ...
Firefox 3.0.3 on Mac OS 10.4.11 (and other, earlier Mac OS versions as well)
Name: merrick Burkhardt Email: merrickatmacdotcom Product: Firefox Summary: Firefox 3.0.3 on Mac OS 10.4.11 (and other, earlier Mac OS versions as well) Comments: Sadly, Firefox is awful on every Mac I've tried it on. I have a PC as well, and I love Firefox, it's the only browser I use on the PC. On my Macs, however... horrid. Speed is the main issue. Compatibility, etc, is fine. Launching FF takes ages. I can literally launch the same 2 home pages on FF and Safari by starting the apps fresh, and I will have loaded the page, then clicked and gone at least one new ...
Updated to Firefox 3.5.3, but version still lists as 3.5.2 (Mac OS X 10.4.11 on G4)
.. . . After upgrading to 3.5.3 (and doing a browser-menu Help>Release Notes opening a tab showing it's 3.5.3), I find the computer's hierarchical listing of applications still shows version 3.5.2, and selecting its icon for a command-get info brings a window identifying it as version 3.5.2. I can't find any other version of Firefox with a later installation date or in a different location on the computer, a 512mb-RAM 1.33GHz Power PC G4 5-yr.-old Mac mini with OS X 10.4.11 (the highest allowed on a non-Intel Mac). Firefox 3.6 isn't friends with Mac OS X 10.4
Name: James Rohde Email: jimrcgmoatgmaildotcom Product: Firefox Summary: Firefox 3.6 isn't friends with Mac OS X 10.4 Comments: I had tried the upgrade to Firefox 3.6, but have noticed these problems I experience with it: 1) When I click on a bookmark in the Finder, Firefox ALWAYS opens a SECOND window with my homepage, NOT just the link I had clicked on. I have tried looking through preferences, but nothing I find that would seem related fixes this bug. 2) Mozilla has indicated that you will be dropping support for Mac OS X 10.4 (the latest version I have on any of my ...

Comments: I have been using Firefox for about 3 or 4 years, and have always been very quick to praise it and recommend it to anyone who would listen, but no more. For me, all versions after 3.6 have been an unmitigated disaster. I am totally unable to access many websites, including my own ISP, and many pages that I am able to access can take literally several minutes to load. Many times, before a page even loads, I am redirected to google a...
